VIA Ministries has a new giving opportunity to share with our friends and supporters. In addition to the donations option on our website or sending checks by mail, supporters can now donate other types of gifts.
Via Ministries has opened a brokerage account for VIA supporters who wish to give the gift of stock or securities. And these gifts come with tax benefits!
For example, people can donate appreciated stock to benefit VIA while reducing their capital gains. When VIA sells the stock, we will not have to pay capital gains.
